Missouri Benefits That Qualify You

If you participate in any of the programs below – or meet income limits – you can receive a free tablet through the federal ACP.

MO HealthNet (Missouri Medicaid)

Traditional Medicaid, MO HealthNet for Families, MO HealthNet for Kids, and Managed Care all qualify. Ideal for telehealth and prescription management.

Missouri SNAP (EBT / Food Stamps)

An active Missouri EBT card is immediate proof of eligibility. Apply with your EBT number – most approvals come within 1–3 business days.

Supplemental Security Income (SSI)

Recipients of federal SSI automatically qualify. Provide your benefit verification letter when applying.

Federal Public Housing Assistance

Residents of HUD-assisted housing programs qualify, including Section 8 vouchers and public housing.

Federal Pell Grant (current year)

Active Pell Grant recipients qualify. Especially useful for Missouri college students at Mizzou, Mizzou KC, MSU, and community colleges.

Free & Reduced School Lunch

Households with kids enrolled in the National School Lunch Program or School Breakfast Program automatically qualify.

Income-Based Eligibility

Even without a qualifying benefit program, you may qualify if your household income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. For 2026, that's roughly $30,120/year for a single individual or $62,400/year for a family of four. Provide a recent tax return, pay stubs, or an income statement.
